Bypassing website certificate issues

Symptom: When visiting a website, you may see an error that says "Your connection isn't private" or an invalid certificate error.

Issue: The sites certificate has expired and needs to be renewed. Your browser sees the expired certificate and gives the error below. IT will get the certificate renewed.

Workaround: It is still possible to visit the site with that error by following these steps. It is only recommended to use this workaround for sites that you know and trust.

1. Go to the site in your browser

2. Click Advanced

a. Note - If you don't see an Advanced button, refresh the page

3. Now click the link to proceed to the site
