Student can't reset password
Issue: When a student is trying to reset their password from the classroom, they never receive the reset email
Solution: The student is in the wrong login area and should choose Microsoft Account when logging in.
When the student goes to classroom.sdi.edu, they will see this screen:
If they choose 'Email and Password', they are brought to this page:
This is a Canvas login page and should only be used if you have an account that was manually created in Canvas (students, staff, and instructors will not have this type of account!).
From this page it is possible to click Forgot Password, enter your email address, submit it, but you will never receive the email because there's no account in Canvas with that email. Instead, the student should go back to classroom.sdi.edu and choose 'Microsoft Account' to log in.
