Sending email from group emails and aliases
To be able to use an alias or group email, you must first add the email address to your Gmail account.
Add the account to your Gmail:
1. Log into your own Gmail
2. Click the settings icon in the top right and choose 'See all settings'
3. Choose the 'Accounts and Import' tab
4. Select 'Add another email address'
5. A new window will open:
a. Name - This is the contact name that shows when you send an email from that account. It defaults to your name, but can be changed.
b. Email address - Enter the email address you want to send from (if it's a group email, you must be part of that group)
c. Alias - In most cases, this should remain checked (For more info, see: https://support.google.com/a/answer/1710338?ctx=gmail&hl=en&authuser=0&visit_id=638472463229988685-275970915&rd=1)
6. Click 'Next Step'
7. Select 'Send Verification'
8. Check your inbox for the verification email and click on the link in the message
9. Click Confirm
