My Templates in Outlook
Outlook uses My Templates to add simple text to emails in both the web and desktop app. My Templates are saved in your account and can be used in both once created.
Note: My Templates won't allow images or special formatting, only text. To create specially formatted templates, see Special Email Templates in Outlook
My Templates
1. Open Outlook (web mail or app)
2. Select New mail to open a blank email

3. Select the Insert tab

4. Click the Apps button and choose My Templates

5. The templates window will open on the right-hand side of Outlook. Click + Template to create a new text template

6. Give the template a title and add the text in the box below. Click Save when finished.

(Copy the text from your existing Gmail templates and add it here)
7. Your template will now appear in this window

8. Click the template to add the text to your email
Tip: to modify or delete an existing template, hover your mouse pointer over the template to get the delete and edit icons
