Sharing Onedrive Files and Documents

- Right click file name you want to share


- Click add name or group or email

You cannot choose an Outlook Distribution Group

- Click "Add more" to add addition names, groups or emails.

- You can choose to share with groups

Again, you cannot share to distribution groups

- Click "Add a message" to define why or what is being shared

- Click "Link settings" to view additional options

- Click dropdown on "can edit" option to provide additional permissions

- Can select other permissions for file and expiration date for share

- You also can set a password on the share

- After choosing your additional options, Click "Apply"

- Click "Send" to share the file

- Share notification is sent, Click "Close"

In file explorer: Note the person symbol next to the green checkmark. This shows that the file is now shared.
